MEGAN ILA
Mrs. Ila was born in Montrose but grew up on the mission field, primarily in Papua New Guinea, for 23 years, and returned to Montrose in 2000.
During this time, Megan has worked in youth ministry, in almost 30 nations. She taught middle school geography at Montrose Education Co-op for 7 years and was a substitute teacher at Colorado West Christian School (CWCS) for 14 years before becoming the full-time middle and high school History and Geography teacher at CWCS in 2020.
Megan and her husband, Geoff, have been married for 27 years and have 4 children, with two now working in missions and the younger two at home.
She has a passion for missions and loves singing. Her hobbies include horse riding, hiking, and hanging out with her family!
