REBEKAH CARLSON

I am Rebekah Carlson, but most people call me Beka.  My husband Brian and I have been married 30 years. I have 4 mostly grown children, Jordan 27, McKenna 24, Tristan 22, and Kaden,19.  Jordan is married to Abigail and they have 2 little boys, Boaz and Zion. McKenna is married to Levi and they have a "dogchild" Ferguson. Tristan and Kaden are both in college, Tristan in Arizona and Kaden in Oregon.  So as of now we are part-time empty nesters.  We came to Montrose last December when Brian became Senior Pastor of Montrose Church on the Hill.  Before that we lived in McMinnville, Oregon where Brian was pastor at McMinnville Calvary Chapel for 7 years, and prior to that we lived in Colorado Springs, CO..  During our time in McMinnville I went back to College, and finished my Elementary  When we came to Montrose last December I was very excited to hear about CWCS and the number of students it served.  I taught 2nd grade for Melissa Moran while she was out on maternity leave and was very happy to be offered a full-time position to teach 4th grade this school year.  This is my first full year as a teacher because prior to working at CWCS I worked as a long term sub for several different grade school and middle schools in Oregon. I am grateful for the opportunity to teach your 4th graders and I am so very thankful that I can teach what is the most important thing to me: knowing Jesus, abiding in Him, and knowing the Bible, God's Word.
