Hi! I am Mrs Koch. I run the library & help in the lunchroom at CWCS. I grew up in SoCal as an only child to a single mother. I went to a private school very similar to ours until high school, then got tossed in with over 4,000 kids on one campus at public school - talk about a culture shock! I went to Cal State Channel Islands for college and obtained an Associates in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelors in Math with an emphasis in Physics with the intent of becoming a High School Math teacher. I received my emergency teaching credentials while in California, but life took me to Colorado before I could use them. While in college I met & married my husband Chris. We have been together for over 16 years! Together we have 2 kids that attend CWCS (4th & 1st graders), and have owned multiple businesses ranging from Home Health Care to Tech Repair to Construction & Land Development and beyond. I enjoy all things outdoors, listening to Audibles and music of all kinds, Disney World, & travelling our beautiful country in my motorhome, but being with the kids at CWCS has brought me the most joy I have had in a long time. Life is so much more about what you scatter than what you gather and I hope to impart some critical thinking skills with a lifelong love of reading and learning while interacting with the students this year.
