My name is Brenda Ballard.  My husband, Fred and I have been for married 27 years and have 7 sons - 4 of whom are adults.   

 

I was not raised in a Christian home, but by grace, was saved when I was a preteen through a VBS program.  After we were married, Fred and I began to grow in the Lord and have served in many positions including Sunday School and Junior Church leaders. 

 

I love our lifestyle here on the Western Slope; my husband and I raise a small herd of cows and do some farming here - carrying on the heritage we have both been privileged to be a part of.  

 

I earned an AAS as an COTA and later, a BS as an Occupational Therapist, and worked in mental health, rehab and home health until my children were older, at which time I was called home to homeschool them and run a business with my husband.  We homeschooled successfully for 16 years.

 

In 2022 we decided it was time for a change and enrolled our youngest boys in CWCS.  We were so very impressed with the school.  I felt the Lord's call as this teaching position came open. I would love to tell you about the doors He clearly opened for me to be here.  I am so honored to be able to teach with an open Bible and show these students how God's plan is revealed in Science, History and Math!
